on "Jane" and an interview with its founder, Heather Booth.

Kendall Bristol is a 17-year-old high school junior living in San Diego County with her family and two dogs. She loves science, math, sports and music. She is huge fan of Marvel comics and her favorite superheroes are Captain America and Black Widow. She is often disappointed that Black Widow, an original Avenger, is nowhere to be found on most Marvel products. Kendall has been playing the drums since the was 7-years-old and enjoys performing any chance she gets. She also enjoys her Meals on Wheels deliveries to homebound seniors as well as competing in science and math competitions and spending time with her family.

Heather Booth is an American civil rights activist, feminist and political strategist frequently recognized for her effective activism in progressive causes. During her college years, she was committed to both the civil rights movement and feminist causes. Since then, she has devoted her career to feminism, community organization and progressive politics.
She began as an organizer in the civil rights, anti-Vietnam war and women’s movements of the 1960s and continues to work for change today. She created JANE, the underground abortion service in Chicago before Roe v. Wade, when abortion was illegal in the United States. Booth is the Founding Director of the Midwest Academy, training social change leaders and organizers. Among her many endeavors and accomplishments, Booth has served as: Training Director of the Democratic National Committee, Director of the NAACP National Voter Fund, lead consultant for founding of the Campaign for Comprehensive Immigration Reform, director of the campaign passing President Obama’s first budget. founding director of Americans for Financial Reform, national coordinator for the coalition around marriage equality and the 2013 Supreme Court decision and director of Progressive and Seniors Outreach for the Biden/Harris campaign.
